The certificate is the product
Two vials of lyophilised powder look identical. The only thing that distinguishes a correctly synthesised peptide from a mis-sequenced one, a heavily salted one, or an outright substitution is the analytical data — and most of the research-peptide market treats that data as marketing rather than evidence.
A Certificate of Analysis that carries no batch number cannot be matched to the vial it supposedly describes. A purity figure quoted without the chromatogram behind it cannot be checked. A claim of third-party testing that never names a method, an instrument or a date is not a claim at all.
This site exists to publish that reasoning openly before we publish a price list. The research library below is the working material — how to read a COA, what the numbers on it actually mean, and which ones are routinely fabricated.
