What this is

A single vial containing Modified GRF (1-29) — CJC-1295 without DAC — and ipamorelin, lyophilised together in a fixed ratio. Both compounds sit in growth hormone axis research, act on different receptors, and appear together often enough that a combined preparation saves a reconstitution step.

Why the pairing is interesting

The two compounds engage the axis at different points through different receptors.

CJC-1295 is an analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone and acts at the GHRH receptor — the physiological "release" signal, coupled to cAMP.

Ipamorelin acts at GHS-R1a, the ghrelin receptor, through a distinct signalling pathway.

Because the receptors are separate and the pathways do not overlap, co-activation is studied as a way of engaging two independent inputs to the same axis rather than saturating one. The GHRH analogue in this blend is the non-DAC form, which produces a short pulse rather than the sustained receptor occupancy of the DAC version — a distinction that matters in any design where pulsatility is a variable. Analytical notes

A blend is two materials in one vial, and it needs two sets of results.

Each component is synthesised and analysed separately before blending — its own HPLC purity figure, its own mass spectrometry identity confirmation — and both appear on the batch certificate. The masses here are conveniently far apart (~3,368 Da and ~712 Da), so a single mass spectrum resolves both components cleanly, and a certificate reporting only one observed mass for a two-component blend has answered half the question.

The chromatography is similarly unambiguous: a 29-residue peptide and a 5-residue peptide are well separated on a reversed-phase column, so the two main peaks should be plainly distinct. If a blend's certificate shows a single peak, something is wrong with the document or with the vial. See spotting a fabricated COA.

Handling and storage

Store sealed at −20 °C, protected from light and moisture. Bring to room temperature before opening, add diluent down the vial wall, and swirl rather than shake. Store solution at 2–8 °C, protected from light.

Reconstituting a blend gives two concentrations from one volume — each component's mass divided by the diluent volume. Run the reconstitution calculator once per component.
